Thursday March 8th from 6pm-7pm, 2012.

Why:  Why not?  This will be an informal and relaxed clinic.

What to Bring: Your bicycle front wheel with tire and tube. If you have tire changing levers, a spare tube and a pump, please bring them. Be sure to clean your wheel before hand. You might also want to bring a small hand towel.

EVENT – Free Clinic: How to Train with Heart Rate and Improve Your Performance During the Off-Season

New Clinic Date:  Thursday February 16th from 6pm-7pm, 2012.

Why: Not all runners are created equally. And neither are your training heart rates. Knowing how to use the appropriate method for determining your target Training Heart Rate Zones will make a significant difference in your workouts. Having a clear understanding of your personal lactate and anaerobic thresholds can make a difference between achieving your goals and falling short during a race. This clinic will go over several common methods for calculating your target training zones and improving your performance during the off-season.

Once again we happy to do our popular Stride/Gait Analysis Clinic.

EVENT – Stride & Gait Analysis Clinic

CLINIC DATE – Thursday October 21st from 5pm-7pm.

Video analysis can pick up abnormalities in your gait that could be causing pain and stiffness
that could lead to common running injuries like plantar fasciitis, shin splints, calf pain, hamstring strains, patella femoral tracking syndrome, hip pain, IT Band syndrome, and back pain. As well, Stride/Gait analysis can be used to help athletes run more efficiently and to prevent an injury before it happens.

Welcome to our Women's Triathlon Clinic, New Paltz, NY.


As women - creators, nurturers, and strong beings - it is never just what we do each day that keeps us
engaged, but how we do it and what we bring of ourselves to everything we put our mark on. How we individually do something is as important as the task itself.


This clinic is taught by women, for women.


New Paltz Women’s Tri Clinic is a triathlon focused clinic teaching the basics of the sport of triathlon
for successful triathlon experiences. Our focus is on technique in training all the areas of triathlon, not limited to
swimming, cycling and running. We are women creating a comfortable learning experience for other women,
without the distractions of feeling intimidated or inadequate due to their limited tri knowledge or experience. It is an environment which encourages bonding with other like minded women, a place to share challenges and
concerns unique to women’s lifestyles, and to hear stories of how other women have managed to enhance life outside of work, family and other responsibilities through fitness based activities.

Your women only triathlon clinic is a three-day intensive program that will incorporate a full Total Immersion Freestyle Group Workshop and open water clinic along with expert instruction on training methodologies, cycling skills and bike fit, running technique analysis, strength & conditioning, flexibility, transitions & race day preparation, training with a heart rate monitor, as well as nutrition for your ultimate performance.

EVENT – Physio Ball Workshop: Core & Low Back Strengthening

CLINIC DATE – Saturday February 27, 2010.

Having a strong core and low back allows us as athletes to function better without injury and more efficiently. Since we need our core to react to movement, we really wouldn't want to train our core statically. Rather we would want to train our muscles to respond to 3-dimensional movement. We need to ba able to move forward, laterally, as well as rotationally. This workshop will teach you how to do some of the best and most effective stability exercises.

EVENT – Women’s Intermediate Triathlon Camp

CLINIC DATE – Friday July 31 – Sunday August 2, 2009.

Welcome to our first Women’s Intermediate Triathlon camp, which will be held in New Paltz, NY From July 31st to August 2nd. This camp is designed to address the needs of improvement minded women who are looking to advance their knowledge and understanding of how to become a better Triathlete.

Our three day women's triathlon camp is a three-day, intensive program that will incorporate a full Fishlike Freestyle Total Immersion Swim Workshop and open water clinic along with expert instruction on training methodologies, bicycle skills, running technique analysis, strength & conditioning, training with a heart rate monitor, as well as nutrition for performance athletes.

EVENT – Lake Placid Training Camp, Lake Placid NY.
DATE – Thursday June 26 - Sunday June 29 2008. 

This camp will be offered also for the summer of 2009.

TrainingBible's Lake Placid Training Camp is a three-day, intensive program that focuses on race-specific training, seminars and discussions to help prepare triathletes for the 2008 IronMan Lake Placid triathlon. Myself and a staff of expert coaches and seasoned endurance triathletes will swim, bike and run the course with you; teaching you the skills needed to complete the race successfully.

Cost: $200.00 for TrainingBible athletes. $300.00 for non-TrainingBible clients.

EVENT – Running Clinic with Olympic Coach Mike at the Mohonk Preserve, New Paltz, NY.
DATE – Saturday August 2, 2008 9am-12:30pm.

This clinic was a huge success and will be offered again in the near future.

Olympic Coach Mike Barnow from the Westchester Track Club will be presenting a USAT-sanctioned one-day running clinic and one-on-one discussion that focuses on the specifics of pacing, form, and interval training from 10k to marathon distances. This clinic is for runners & triathletes of all abilities.

Cost: $50.00. Addtional expenses: one-day USAT license (this covers insurance and is available at the clinic) and entry to the Mohonk Preserve at Spring Farm entrance.

Limited to 20 athletes. Pre-registration required.
